TPI assisted Juanita in gaining access to the full Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) standards that were being denied to her and other incarcerated individuals. Juanita includes a copy of her initial request of the material that was denied. TPI then requested the full text of the "National Standards to Prevent, Detect, and Respond to Prison Rape" be added to the TDCJ Law Library Holdings List and included in all TDCJ Law Library holdings for Juanita and others.
